Prerequisites: Advanced Scuba Diver certification, or equivalent training with entrance exam, scuba rescue diver certification and medical exam with physician’s approval for diving. THIS IS MANDATORY! All Divemaster candidates must provide their own complete set of skin and scuba diving gear for all confined and open water sessions.
Course Description: This course offers the student an introduction to teaching along with student/class handling techniques. This course also covers the roles and responsibilities of leadership. During this course students can enhance their diving knowledge and watermanship skills. Upon completion of this course you will receive a Divemaster certification. The goal of the UFADP Scuba Leadership course is to produce knowledgeable, safe and skilled DMs.
