Cancelled Dive Policy
In the event of inclement weather, instructor illness, inability to locate suitable dive site(s) or for any other reason, a scheduled dive is cancelled, the Director, UFADP, will schedule a make-up dive at the earliest possible time. It is hoped that such rescheduled dives will be at a time and place that permits all students and staff to attend. Should all not be able to attend, student safety and national standard maintenance mandates that the dive(s) be scheduled at a time when all instructors and assistant instructors can attend. Every effort will be made to accommodate all parties.
Note: Should the student be absolutely unable to attend the make-up dive, the student may make special arrangements with DOCE and a UFADP instructor for a private diving experience. The fee for this service is $50.00 per diving day (2 dives per day maximum) payable to DOCE, plus UF equipment rental fees.
